812’s two-seat cabin is sumptuous even in stock spec. Performance is absolutely ballistic – 0-200kph, for instance, takes all of 7.9sec! The 812 Superfast’s 800hp, 6.5-litre V12 really is one of Ferrari’s greats. It pulls with an addictive urgency and wails all the way to 9,000rpm. Do note, however, that on public roads, the 812’s ride does feel fidgety and the fat tyres make a fair bit of noise too.
