Kia
Kue
Designed to provide an invigorating driving experience, the Kue is at home on the road or off. And with its stripped-down look, at once powerful and composed, the Kue could fit into any setting. The interior continues the understated theme, too. Kue’s technology keeps pace with its design touchpad and motion sensor controls feature prominently.
A 400-hp supercharged 4.6-liter V-8 engine resides, drives all four wheels through a five-speed manumatic transmission.
In keeping with its concept-car nature, it features hulking 22-inch wheels and isn't based on an existing platform.
It's 114-in. wheelbase and 186-in. overall length put it very close in size to the reigning performance crossover king, the Infiniti FX45. While the low-slung Kue is being called "purely a concept" by Kia, execs admit it gives strong hints to the future styling direction of the Korean manufacturer.
With its four wheels pushed to the corners and exterior skin tautly stretched over its underpinnings, the Kue sits powerful and poised. Draped muscular wheel flares play a nice contrast to crisp beveled sections found elsewhere on the body. Swept-back headlights connect to the front grille to create a clean, aggressive down-road appearance.
