Manish Malhotra, the founder of the eponymous label, has spent the last three decades immersed in the worlds of fashion and movies. He has styled and designed for thousands of films and has received countless honours. He is credited with reinventing and updating the look of Indian actors, as well as restoring some of the country's long-forgotten trades. He rose to popularity as the recipient of numerous awards for his extensive work in Bollywood, Telugu, Tamil, Hollywood, television, and the fashion sector. Manish Malhotra became well-known for his perspective on the importance of costumes in films, and he was frequently involved in the narration and script reading process in order to produce costumes for films.
Manish has collaborated with various brands like Hindware, Vivo, Magnum etc. He also designed costumes for various hit films like Dilwale Dulhaniya Lejayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Jab We Met, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani etc. Kiara Advani and Kartik Aryan wore the Manish Malhotra couture for the Drive-in fashion show 2021.
