It is the holding company for the Ferragamo Group, which employs over 4,000 people and runs 654 mono-brand stores in Italy and around the world. Unique designs and material selections have long been a hallmark of the brand. The brand's trademarks include the "Gancini" decoration, the 'Vara' patent ballet pump, the Salvatore bag, and the usage of patchwork. It also manufactures eyeglasses and timepieces in partnership with Marchon and Timex Group. In 2014, it began using NFC tags on its products to deter counterfeiting.
This month we've chosen Salvatore Ferragamo Terra Rossa as our fragrance of the month. The truly Italian head notes are those of Bergamot and Bitter Orange, accentuated by the freshness of exclusive Rose Essential. The heart and the middle notes are of an Italian touch of aromatic Cypress, juxtaposed with balsamic Laudanum Resin and the warmth of Patchouli. The flaming BASE NOTES are wrapped into woody spirals of Ambertonic, opulent Amber and lighter Tonka Beans.
