The Mercedes-AMG G63 is all about making things look easy,
whether it's tearing down the highway at triple-digit speeds or
crawling over boulders at single-digit speeds. It will also make
your valet experience much easier, as those people will almost
certainly park your truck in the front. The Mercedes-AMG G63 is powered by a 4.0-liter twinturbocharged
V-8 engine that produces 577 horsepower and
850 Nm of torque. All of that power is sent to the all-wheeldrive
system via a nine-speed automatic transmission with
paddle shifters located on the steering wheel (4Matic) Three
locking differentials and low-range gears are standard.
If you've ever sat in an older G-class, the cabin will feel familiar,
but it's now a totally modern environment, with a 12.0-inch
digital instrument panel, high-quality materials, and amenities
like cupholders and a surround-view camera system. With available Nappa leather surfaces, actual metal accents,
and superb attention to detail, the G63's interior is simply
stunning. There's plenty of headroom, even if shoulder room is
tight, and the G63 comes standard with heated front and back
seats, multicolor ambient lighting, a sunroof, and other
features. However since we are a little over budget you might
have to bargain for this Merc.
