 Luxury Inside
Luxury of the month- January
The Maybach version, based on the already-luxurious Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class, cranks up the luxury to the maximum. The Maybach GLS is not a slow car, with a twin- turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine delivering 550 horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque, but that's not the point: drive one, or rather, be driven in one, and you'll understand. Being chauffeured around in the rear of this one makes you feel like royalty, and the road your kingdom.

The Maybach grille features vertical pinstripe chrome struts, illuminated power side steps finished in anodized aluminium with rubber anti-slip strips, standard 22-inch high-gloss black alloy wheels with a high-sheen finish, LED headlights, and a panoramic sunroof on the exterior of the palatially large SUV. By default, the rear windows are tinted with privacy glass, and everything that can be chromed is. On both sides of the SUV, Maybach insignia cover the C-pillar. For even more excess, 23-inch forged alloy wheels are available as an option. Not only does this car has the presence of a giant but also great styling touches to go along with it.
  Luxury Inside
If you're concerned about fuel costs, you shouldn't even contemplate buying a Maybach; the experience is far more important when it comes to this car. The Maybach GLS is claimed to get 6-8 kilometres per litre of fuel. This is only slightly better than the more powerful AMG GLS 63, but with driving settings that deliberately exclude auto stop/start for the purpose of refinement, this is unsurprising.

When it comes to interior design and all over quality, Mercedes-Benz has always been at the top of its game. The standerd GLS is a seriously opulent SUV, but adding the Maybach name to the back means that the interior of this SUV is completely overhauled, transforming it into a rolling six-star hotel suite, but at the cost of the third row of seats which are removed for better second row space. Fully reclining rear seats, extending, folding tables, heated and ventilated seats with massage functions, a refrigerator with space for champagne bottles, and even a set of handcrafted silver champagne flutes are examples of the levels of luxury being offered.
